The building
A former textile finishing plant on Howell Mill, taken down to its steel and rebuilt as 198 residences.
Adaptive reuse is harder than building new, and it is almost always worth it. The original 1946 structure gave us fourteen-foot ceilings, exposed riveted trusses, and a column grid we could not have afforded to replicate.
We left the concrete. We left the steel. Everything we added — the oak, the blackened metal, the plaster — was chosen to sit quietly next to a building that already had a point of view.
West Midtown does not need to be explained to anyone who lives in Atlanta. Ellsworth West sits in the middle of it, on the walkable side of Howell Mill, with the Westside Beltline connector four minutes from the lobby.

Rent at Ellsworth West covers your residence, full access to every amenity floor, smart-access entry, and 24-hour maintenance. Water, sewer, trash, and pest control are billed monthly as a flat utility package. Electricity and internet are set up directly by the resident, and our team will send provider details with your welcome packet.
Applications are completed online and typically return a decision within one business day. We ask for photo identification, two recent pay statements or an offer letter, and a gross household income of 2.5 times the monthly rent. A one-time application and administrative fee applies per adult occupant.
Standard terms run 12 to 15 months. Shorter terms from three months are available in select residences at a month-to-month premium, and our furnished Sojourn homes are offered on 30-day terms. Your leasing director will price every option side by side before you commit.
Two pets per residence, no weight limit, breed restrictions apply. One-time $350 fee per pet plus $25 monthly pet rent. A fenced dog run sits along the north elevation with a wash station at the entry.
Assigned garage parking is $135 per month. Eight Level 2 EV chargers are available at cost. Street parking on Howell Mill is metered and enforced until 10pm.
